The photo meaningful for me

This is a photo that means a lot to me, here I am with my grandmother on her birthday. Every time I look at this photo, many feelings come to my mind and at the same time sadness because I can't be by her side, but I see her so happy in that photo that I forget the sadness.

I remember that that day she was very excited, I took the plane earlier and went studying on the trip. When I got to my grandparents' house, my grandmother recognized me, she called me by name (my grandmother has Alzheimer's) and I was very happy.

I started decorating the house and then I helped my mom with the food. We worked on it all morning and when it was time for her birthday, we dressed my grandmother and left her very pretty. That day the mariachis went to the house to sing to my grandmother, we ate cake, we laughed and danced all night. It was a great day.
